New Security Features for MoneyGuidePro Access

| October 20, 2020

Effective Monday, October 26, 2020, two-factor authentication will be enabled within your MoneyGuide plan and Client Portal. This is a security measure for accessing Plan data. The next time you log in, you will be asked to use two-factor authentication.

Two-Factor Authentication (or 2FA) is an extra layer of security used to make sure that people trying to gain access to online information are who they say they are. First, a user will enter their username and a password. Then, instead of immediately gaining access, they will be required to provide another piece of information (i.e. a code).

When prompted, after log in, complete the two-factor registration. This may require you to download the Authy app should you select it as your means of authentication.

Let us know if you have any questions or problems accessing your current financial plan in MoneyGuidePro.
